Ali has been in the fitness industry for over eleven years. After having her first baby in 2011, she began taking Pilates classes for strengthening her core and pelvic floor, and soon became an instructor. Pilates and pregnancy awakened a desire in her for more knowledge on pelvic floor issues, and to become a specialist in the field of pre and postnatal exercise.

Ali has connected with leading professionals in the women’s health industry and has undertaken an abundance of courses in this area (and continues to do so). This education and mentoring has helped her navigate through her own pelvic organ prolapse diagnosis, and learn strategies to remain fit and active despite this.

Ali enjoys the attention to detail and the control involved in each movement of Pilates, and of course the focus it has on the pelvic floor and core muscles. She is also passionate about healthy eating, and loves to race her mountain bike.
